Want List should have an option to add a price and URL to buy it.

This would the ability to show the price next to the item so you can see everything you want and how much they will cost you and they'd be in a nice list view. The price can then be clicked on and pop-up the URL I added. I don't want auto pricing to show up automatically because they haven't been that accurate especially when I'm looking at lenses.

Having it in the want list would be an interesting feature. One big issue would be which online store do you link to in order to get the price? Are you suggesting that the user decide which store and enter it on their own list or entering the price and URL which would affect every user?

We want to display the best prices for a given gadget. This functionality is already implemented on the gadget pages through PriceGrabber. The inaccuracies found in PriceGrabber have to do with either incorrect or missing MPNs and/or UPCs. If you find either of those numbers, feel free to add it to the gadget page. When one of those fields (or both) is filled in, I find the results to be very accurate.

Have you guys thought to integrate with Google or Bing shopping? They both seem fairly accurate.

Does anybody have tips on finding MPNs or UPCs?

Chances are if the product has a weird letter/number combination after it, that's the MPN. (ie. gdgt.com/sony/str-dn1010/)

You can also just google "'product name' mpn." Another way is to go to PriceGrabber and search for the product and pull the MPN right from there. Apple products have the MPN listed in the online store. They usually aren't that hard to find unless it is an obscure company or rare product.

The Google/Bing shopping is an interesting idea.

I would like to choose the store of my choice. I personally use amazon for a lot of my online shopping so unless another store owns amazon on price, my loyalty is to amazon. I also have an amazon prime acct so my shipping is free.

The main feature I wanted in this is to see a list of what I want (wish list) and their prices so I can decide what I'm getting next depending on how much money I'm willing to spend at the time.
