Thanks for all the great memories!

Hey folks,

Today is my last day at gdgt. I joined the team almost 3 years ago -- back in January of 2009. Time flies when you're having fun! It's been an incredibly wild and exhilarating ride, but it's time for me to pursue some new opportunities in 2012.

I want to thank the gdgt community for making my job an absolute blast and helping create something awesome! It's been a fun experience chatting with everyone here, on Twitter / Facebook / Google+, and even talking in person at our gdgt live events. I've met a countless number of great people, and for that, I'm super thankful.

To my past and current colleagues, thank you as well for all the awesome times. I won't soon forget our all-night launch sessions, brainstorming sessions, Chipotle runs, Modern Warfare competitions, and staying on top of the latest and greatest internet memes. I've made a lot of friends here and always had such a great time.

Thanks again for all the fun times and happy memories! I can't wait to see gdgt grow through 2012 and beyond. There is some seriously cool stuff in the pipeline, and I can't wait to see it go live.

Dave, it's been fun getting to know you as both a user and a team member. You were one of the first people I ever conversed with at gdgt, and your hard work made the site more enjoyable to use

Hey Dave,

Thanks for everything you've done for the site and its users. I don't think gdgt would have been able to reach where it's at right now without you. Hopefully, you'll still be on the site a lot and also be at the next gdgt event! We're all going to miss you!

Thanks for the post Dave. I've spoken to you a couple of times via tweets and email in relation to gdgt and tech and I have to say you were extremely pleasant on each and every occasion. All the best for all your future endeavours!

Very sad to see you go Dave! You were always helpful when I had problems or suggestions, and I really enjoyed reading your question answers, discussion comments, and tweets! I think I learned more about earthquakes from following you on Twitter than I ever knew before!
