So far, there hasn't been too much to discuss. They just started (after a delay due to a power failure!).

Ryan and Peter are killing it at Ballmer's keynote right now!! :) This is the first time I've been able to sit and watch the live updates with the auto-refresh, yeah I'm a bit late, but it's so freakin' NICE!!! :)
-By the way the power outage was epic.

The auto refresh worked way better than engadget´s or cnet´s, congratulations, I followed all 3 simultaneously.

interesting to mention customer satisfaction with Windows 7 vs WinMo. If only they put the same effort into the mobile platform...

Ballmer just said the "slate" word...I guess "tablets" are officially history now. Hail the era of the slate?

I'll admit, that HP slate prototype looked kind of hot.

slate just implies no keyboard attached. tablet pcs up until this point have pretty much had a keyboard and then a screen that could twist down as a tablet.

You´re right, since 2002, all tablets have been either convertibles (notebooks) or slates.
