We've always loved the concept of what Eye-Fi's trying to do, and the Pro X2 unquestionably represents the most complete and capable execution of that concept to date.

The latest Eye-Fi card, the Pro X2, boosts write speeds and adds Endless Memory, and like all Eye-Fi cards, lets you wireless upload photo and video to your PC and sharing sites.

Whether it’s a studio photographer looking to “shoot tethered”, or quick and easy photo and video uploads to Facebook during your kid’s birthday party ... the Eye-Fi Pro X2 is a great addition to your camera bag.

There’s undoubtedly plenty to like about taking a photo and seeing it almost instantly pop up on your computer, and it’s still hard to believe that Eye-Fi can fit all the necessary hardware into something the size of a memory card. At $149.99, the Eye-Fi Pro X2 isn’t cheap.

If you're an enthusiastic photographer who works a lot while out and about and needs instant access to your photos, the Eye-Fi Pro X2 is an awesome purchase. It doesn't come cheap but compared to dedicated proprietary wireless solutions, it's a bargain, and of course it will work in any camera.

Everything’s handled so well that Eye-Fi Pro X2 merits our high recommendation; if you can afford it, it’s worth having, and if you can’t afford it, consider one of the less feature-laden versions.

With its ad-hoc network support, RAW and HD video support, and the "Endless Memory" feature, it's close to being a must-have gadget for all photographers. So close, all Eye-Fi needs to do is exterminate those pesky bugs.

We like the Eye-Fi Pro X2 SDHC memory cards for the work they actually do ... It wasn’t hard to get the card up and running, and once done it worked well. The added speeds weren’t dramatic, but they were enough to make the wait less of a burden.
