Did a photo shoot for some friends this past weekend and they bought me an Eye-Fi Connect X2 as a gift, after they noticed it was on my gdgt want list. Hah, so awesome! Anyone have similar stories of gdgt lists working out for them?

I'm interested in finally picking up an Eye-Fi, primarily for use with my Canon S90 point and shoot. However, I'd like to have it serve dual purposes and be able to use in my DSLR in a pinch. Has anyone tried this? I'd imagine an adapter, plus the larger size of the DSLR, would significantly impede wifi signals. But it seems intriguing if it works properly!
