This is totally anecdotal, but my pair of hf2s just survived a run through the washer/dryer with no apparent ill effects.
I doubt that I'd be able to say the same for most of my other monitors, but I'm not about to try it.

Which $100+- range in ear headphones offer the best sound isolation?
Would be nice if there was a mic and iPhone compatible controls and in the $100 or so price range (more bang for your buck is always a plus)

Wires easily broken?
I've had a major issue with this headset - sound keeps cutting out after a couple months of use and had to return it twice to have it repaired. (Unfortunately the second shipment was pilfered and Etymotic said they could do "little about it," which sucks, but true. One word of warning, though, you need to pay for the shipping and they don't tell you when they ship back to you.) My question is, did anyone have similar problem with the cable connection breaking near the plug? Not...
