Despite its age, the ER-6i manages to score high marks in sound quality and ergonomics, and is still unbeatable at sound isolation among its peers.

This is the best pair of in-ear headphones I bought. I tried a pair of Sony (which sounded poorly and broke after a few weeks), some expensive V-Moda (very uncomfortable, mediocre sound, broke after 6 months). I've had these for over a year now, and I'm still hooked. I found them to be...

For the price now, and for the sound you get, worth every penny. I MUST WARN YOU that Etymotics don't make earphones for people who like very bass biased sound. Do not come in expecting booming lows. Triple Flanges are briliant and truly truly do insulate you very well from the outside world.

I've been using these for more than four years. A threshold point: first, Etymotic is an outstanding company and has one of the best customer service teams I've ever dealt with. They really treat their customers right and have a great email CSR system in place for addressing any...

When my incredibly comfortable but muddy sounding Sony EX51's died I thought I would upgrade to something that had received universal rave reviews. The first time I put the E6i's in my ears I knew that these things were a big mistake. The sound is great, bass was like nothing I had...

I bought these a few years ago and have been using them on and off since then. They're the clearest or cleanest sounding of the headphones I own. At the time, the direct comparison was a Sennheiser PX100 and I've since added the HD650. They don't emphasize bass like some other brands out there,...

I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination but I do listen to podcasts, a lot of them. During the periods where I did venture into music I was delighted to find that in some cases there were instruments bassy enough that my desktop couldn't produce them but these could....

I bought these right about the time they debuted so I lived with them for a long time. The response of these headphones are designed to enhance the iPod so if you are looking for a flat response look somewhere else. However, the enhancements are not overpowering in my opinion. They just flat...

I have always liked In-Ear or canal style headphones, and i have used the cheaper versions from Sony or Philips for quite some time. But i now consider them to be "cheaters". Almost all of them have have a huge part of the housing hanging out of your ears, preventing good seal and fit....

I got these a few years ago. I worked in several data centers that were so loud that yelling was necessary for coherent conversations. I wanted to be able to listen to music but I needed something small so that I could move around but would block out the sound of singing servers. I'm VERY...

I have had these for 2 years now. I have sent them back 3 times. Etymotics was good and sent me new ones the last time. The replacement pair they sent me didn't last long (6 months). Now they won't return my emails about it. Don't get me wrong when they work they are amazing. The...

Brand loyalty is something many manufacturers must find challenging in this modern world. I for one, won't be upgrading or replacing these with another selection from Etymotic. They took a little while to get used to - not a problem. The isolation and sound reproduction are good but the...
