Of course, the coolest thing about this "RAID-style" device, is that you don't have to use identical drives - just slap in whatever you have laying around. Read the full review →Love the expandability and the redundancy that the Drobo provides. Hate the noise. Have noticed that after prolonged uptime the Drobo shuts down and power cable needs to be removed and re-added, it starts up again & resumes as normal, until the next time.
