this is fake, at least the one showing the desktop client. you can tell by the font of the gauge bar and the odd icons in the lower left.

Believe it or not. Chinese system make the font look different. and that odd icon is a chinese input software.

Yeah, the Zune software is likely using the system font for the gauge bar. If you've ever seen screenshots of a Chinese Windows system, you'll notice it uses a font that looks similar to Courier throughout the system.

This is very interesting indeed!

although, at this point, i don't know if i'd purchase a 64GB Zune HD.

With all the talk about mobile 7, I'll hold out for one of those phones for a year, or for an HD2

A Zune device that will be like the ipod touch of mobile 7

BTW mobile 7 has confirmed divx support

Can we see a pic of it? And some indication that it really is 64 gigs.

What on earth, Could you get another pic a little zoomed out to show its an HD? Maybe your friend has access to some prototype or something. What ever it is I'm confused.

It can be connected with Zune software.

don't think those exist. Perhaps he installed a higher capacity hard drive?

It's either a fake or a DIY mod. 64GB Zune HDs don't exist.

I guess it's a DIY mod. Maybe he installed 2x32GB

The other possibility is that it's a special version made for the Zune team.

When the original 4GB/8GB flash Zunes were made, there was a special 16GB version made for the Zune team (and it was a bright yellow colour).

I'd love a 64GB Zune HD. I think if the rumours of a Zune HD2 are true we'll see a 64GB model later this year.

Hopefully the original Zune HD can get an update to WP7S, but do the specs meet what Microsoft is requiring?

That one looks the same as the 16 GB one, black.
And it writes 16GB Model 1395 on the back.

Sounds like a false alarm folks. 1395 is the model number for FCC testing.

You mean these specs? www.engadget.com/2010/02/17/windows-phone-7-series...

Looks like the Zune HD is missing exact button count, camera, and.... oh yea, it's not actually a phone. Looks like no WP7S for the Zune HD.
