Discussion about
ZUNE APPS: I chose between the zune hd and the ipod touch, i made the wrong mistake because the ipod touch has better apps and I love apps.
I think with the hd and the great sound quality, that if the zune hd had the same apps as the ipod touch and more better ones the zune company could outsell the ipod touch!
Please explain to me what the Zune Company is.... Do you mean Microsoft?
the Touch has more apps because they port the same apps from teh iPhone, the Touch, the iPad, etc.. etc... they've been around a lot long and have a lot more devices running basically the same OS.... I don't know what you want Microsoft to do about that. When Windows Phone 7 comes out (which uses Zune as the base for it's media center) I think you'll start to see a lot more apps come out if its a hit.
Also did you make the wrong choice or did you make a mistake. What you wrote says that either would be a mistake and you made the wrong one... Come on man.

True, but unfinished...
The key to why the Apple ecosystem has more apps is because they allow for 3rd party apps, which Microsoft has not allowed thus-far. In other words, what you're saying is that if Microsoft had all the same app guidelines that they have now, and if they had their own "iPhone" and "iPad," that they would have the same number of apps as Apple, but that's not the case.
Of course this will change with WP7, but I'm talking about what was available in the timeframe of the discussion.

I'm in exactly the same situation as you. I plan on getting a new iPod Touch if Microsoft doesn't come out with a Zune HD2 or something.
