With iOS 4.2 coming out in November, think the dev team will wait to release a jailbreak until then?
Originally, the dev team was waiting to release a new jailbreak until iOS 4.1 came out, since they didn't want Apple to patch their exploits so quickly. Now, with the release of iOS 4.2 on the map in the near future, do you think we'll see the dev team push back a jailbreak release even further?
That's certainly a strong possibility, but ultimately, I think they'll release a jailbreak for 4.1 The reason they avoided the last version of iOS is because the ONLY thing it addressed was the exploit. There were no other bug fixes or features. I think the dev team will want jailbreak users to gain access to the new features and bug fixes of 4.1, so they'll probably release a new jailbreak. If they don't, though, I think we could all understand why.
