Does anyone have this working? The only reason I bought this printer was because it offered wireless scanning and presumably offered that to macs, since I bought it at an Apple store (it was $50 after rebate with purchase of a MacBook Pro). The Software from Epson is ridiculous. The installer takes forever, installing countless separate components all with their own installer. The computer is unusable during the install process because for some reason it steals focus constantly. What a frustrating experience. Even without their crap software, wireless printing works great on Snow Leopard. With the software, I can't get wireless scanning to work.

Wireless scanning to a Mac running Snow Leopard
Did you install the latest software available for Snow Leopard on epson's website? That's all I did and I have no issues.
I have an Epson Workforce 600 with a mac mini 2009 on Snow Leopard an it works great with everything including scanning and reading SD cards wirelessly.
Also worth pointing out you can do this from Preview.
To do so, launch Preview then go to File>Import from Scanner and check Include Networked Devices. Then go back to Import From Scanner and your scanner should show up.
I worked this out after spending countless hours trying to get an HP wireless printer/scanner working after an upgrade to SL

Epson software is horrible. Take the advice of these guys and use the included SL software to do your scanning.
