Windows 7 Bootcamp

I'm wondering how running Windows 7 in Bootcamp will fair on the Macbook Pro with Retina Display? I wonder if there will be any issues with image quality?

Windows 7 already supports scaling out of the box. You will probably need to scale 1440 by 900 at 2x

Try it out!

Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Display -> Set custom text size (DPI) then pick 200%

You will need to log out and in again for changes to take effect

Windows 8 will handle DPI scaling better than Windows 7, of course.

Of course, Windows 9 will handle it even better!

My two Windows PC have 120GB SSDs as boot disks, with the base model I still have 140GB left for my OS X partition. However the discussion about scaling has given me pause.

Windows 7 will it scale?
