Will the Popbox do Youtube-----Hulu-and can you use Playon with it......
Not sure about Hulu or Playon, but Syabas has announced that Youtube will be accessible through the device.

So youtube support is back, Hulu is still out, and Play-on will work with any DLNA UPnP device including the Popbox...

Still it'd be nice to have this support built right in--I'm not willing to run a windows box with the purpose of running this software. Though realistically, I know the networks are hesitant to let this happen.
It /is/ a solution, but once you start to introduce a step like this, the device goes from being a mass consumption to niche audience device. I wouldn't recommend it to my parents, that is, if they wanted to watch Hulu.

I agree - I've never gotten Playon as it just seemed like a weird intermediate step... I know it works for a lot of people though so thats cool... I'm mostly just glad all the main game consoles and roku and Tivo do netflix now... Thats all I really wanted...
