Why does microsoft permanently ban people?
I would like to take the time and thank microsoft enforcement for ripping off multiple customers over the years. Just because your great at a game does not mean your a cheater, hacker, modder. Perminantly banning accounts is an excuse for microsoft to sit on their throne and be tyrants in their jobs. Please do not allow them to continue to abuse the power they were given. Microsoft enforcement is a bunch of nerdy, picked on little children who hate to lose at video games and the result is they will ban you forever without prior warning or any chance of getting your hard earned money you've spent on their products back. Dear microsoft, stop stealing money from people when you have more than half of what the world is worth! I have tried being polite with these people, and have yet to have one response to my questions. Why they refuse to answer me is a mystery, but I will tell you they have a laundry list of ppeople they are making angry and I'm one of many signing a patition against their enforcement team and persuing a lawsuit. No where in there terms of use or agreement does it say they have the right to not reinburse you or refund you for any lost purchased items, I have already had my account stolen once and they said it would be 20 days or so and three months later they finally got it back to me. Funny thing is I told them the person who did it and everything, yet these are the results I got. If this is the way Bill Gates wants his company to continue to run, then you can expect a lose of your gaming community, which is a huge percentage of your income. Further more I no longer endorse microsoft products, and or anything produced, distributed by microsoft. Maybe someone here knows someone whom can actually do something to get this fixed for me, but in the mean time, I will no longer be using any microsoft product ever again!
I agree that Microsoft is out of step in this day and age. They charge for what others give away for free. And, as you have discovered, one of the problems with network-services (and DRM in general!) is that consumers have very little power or recourse when things go wrong. However, you could substitute Blizzard, EA, Steam, Apple, Sony or any number of other big companies in there - and find people with similar painful stories to tell.
I would encourage you to checkout the free and open software platforms and the games available on those platforms. However, the price of freedom is a general lack of polish and games that are . . . well . . . a little dated in their appearance. Or at least that was the case three or fours years ago when I checked that scene out (for like the third time I might add!). Still, the game-play itself was often great (particularly if you are into classic gaming); and one can't argue with free.

Microsoft does not ban people, what they ban is the console. If you get a different console you would be able to log in with your credentials.

Chill bro. Wake up to the fact that Microsoft sucks. Xbox sucks. Bill Gates sucks too, but he's been gone from the company since XP. Go Playstation man, go hard on the playstation. "Fighting" Microsoft isn't going to help anything unless you really need to let out your anger. You're prolly better off hitting a training bag at the gym though because at least then you'll get a workout.
Lots of people cheat, lots of people don't and it's hard to tell the difference because everyone denies. However, upgrading to the better system and sending your money to Microsoft's competition is going to hit them harder than any lame petition or online discussion.
