Where are you all wearing your Fitbit? I like the idea of throwing it in my pocket, and the accuracy has been decent, but not quite as accurate as when clipped to a belt. I just don't like having something on my belt, you know?
I have the same issue and mine just recently fell into the toilet and survived. It seems the Fitbit is quite durable, which is a real win for a 1st gen product.
Does this thing have any kind of tether? They are pretty standard in the pedometer world as they will fall off. I'd sure hate to lose a fancy pedometer that costs 3-4x as much as a non-wireless one.
There are several discussion about this topic on their site, and regarding a tether, they should include one but, unfortunately, they don't. I wear mine on my belt and it has fallen off a few times. After losing it at work once (and being found by a coworker), I've since placed a label on the back with my name and number. If someone does happen to find it, they may call (people are basically good, right?).
