What will the internal storage options be for the next iPad?
Historically, the iPad has had 6 models - three different storage options (16, 32, 64) for WiFi only and three for WiFi + 3G. With the introduction of iCloud and especially the iTunes component of iCloud, will Apple just continue making models with the same amounts of storage space (maintaining the 16 GB base model would be cheaper for Apple)? Or will they bump the storage sizes to 32, 64, and 128?
My main concern is this - While music and other media files can be stored in the cloud, many apps (games) are getting larger and larger (I have a couple of games on my phone sized at nearly 2 GB each). Rumors of a quad core chip and higher resolution display in the iPad 3 mean more of these large games. The point I'm trying to make is that with advances in other areas of hardware, is there still a need for higher capacities of internal storage or will companies just be pushing the cloud now?

I think Apple's going to ditch the flash ram all together. A 5.25" floppy would fit in there perfectly and I'm sure there's like, 3-4 of those things left on earth :).
Honestly, I think it would depend on the price of flash ram. As it comes down, Apple would put more in; it'll expand over time. That said, for media streaming works very well around the house. That doesn't help with gaming of course, but pushing video off the pad gives it a ton of space. And even at 2GB a game, 64 gig would hold quite a few games. I've honestly never had my iPad filled up and its only the 16 GB version. The iPhone 4S has even less on it. The only time I worry is out in the field when I import a ton of RAW images to the iPad for processing.
I don't think this is something to worry about. If there's a need, and people can afford it, Apple will expand the storage.

I doubt it'll get bumped. People are no longer putting their entire music collections onto the machines in the same way that they used to do with iPods.
Heck, I've been running a Windows Phone for the past year with a staggeringly measly 8Gb of storage, and it hasn't actually been a gross inconvenience thanks to Zune and Skydrive (although I think 16Gb is the minimum to truly not feel constrained even in this mode of use). As more people transition to iTunes Match/Cloud, and as services like Spotify proliferates, all you'll need on your machine a apart from apps is basically offline cache.
