So when i bought this computer last summer, it came with Vista Home Premium installed. Then it got (very, very) slow, and I was debating going back down to Windows XP.
Then I thought I'd be clever and hackint0sh my way to OS X Leopard. This worked out extremely well (using iAtkos v1.0 i... or something like that... and installing it with all of the drivers that say "intel"), except I couldn't get three things to work. My audio input/output wouldn't work (although the speakers worked, the headphones wouldn't), the S-Video port wouldn't connect to my TV, and I couldn't get my wireless network card to work. The wireless problem could be solved using any USB wifi card, but I still couldn't connect my computer to my TV (although I'm sure I probably could have used a network-media-extender or my xbox). As I dont have much experience with Mac's, I naturally tried to update to the newer version of OS X Leopard 10.5.7, and botched it, got a kernel error, and gave up.
So now I'm back down to Windows Vista Home Premium because I got lazy and it automatically works with like every driver ever. And I use my HP Mini for just about everything except connecting video streaming to my TV and iTunes.
I'm way too lazy to try figuring out Linux again... which I haven't dealt with in quite a few years. I'll probably find a way to get it either running as a Mac again, or wait for Win 7.

What OS are you using?
I used Home Premium but I recently installed Windows 7 RC which works amazing. I suggest getting the RC and them upgrading when it is fully released. I haven't encountered any problems yet, except random when I wake it up from Sleep Mode the audio out doesnt work. It goes away if you restart, or wake it from sleeping again but it's still weird.
You really want to wait for Windows 7. Yes its only beta right now but Microsoft is releasing it mid-ish October.
