What is best Video Camera?

Which company makes best video camera and which model is best to start with? for example i know Nikon and Canon is best in Still Photography but what about video production?

that's are really subjective question. I agree with Dawagner1 that the best one is the one you have with you when you need it. with phones today the video quality and photo quality is getting a lot better and getting better fast.

I like the go pro cameras Because they are fairly affordable and rugged depending on the usage.

I am not a video person but i do like the website dpreview.com and they posted a guide fro beginners of HD Video maybe that will be of some assistance to you.
