Agreed. Everyone else I was trying to watch had issues.

I'm sorry you had issues, but you didn't miss much. It's a "New iPad". Not iPad 3, or iPad 2S.. Just 'The New iPad'.

Love the features, but somebody in marketing should get fired for not calling it iPad3. It's almost like Who's on first...
Have you heard of the new iPad? Not the iPad 3, but the new ipad? not the iPad2, the new iPad...next year it will be the gnu iPad...or perhaps the next year's model will be called the new, new iPad - and maybe last year's model should be called the iPad formerly know as 2...

Has everything I wanted in an Android tablet. I've just never gotten my kids (6 and under) to like my SGS as much as my wife's iPod Touch 4th Gen. This new iPad will be my first pre-ordered Apple device. Can't wait.

Retina display was a strong desire for me. Voice dictation is icing on the cake. New processor is expected, and will be very nice. Camera is iffy. I'm glad it won't suck anymore, but I still doubt I'll use it. I definitely won't use the 4G. I'll put a hotspot on my phone instead.

Anyway, definitely getting one.

THIS is the iPad I've been waiting for. Thought it would have 128GB option, but I guess with 4G LTE and movies in iTunes in the Cloud it's not as much of a necessity anymore. I didn't buy the iPad2 because we didn't get Retina... time to go dig through the couch cushions for $700 in loose change...

Why don't they also have user accounts for the iPad, my family sure would benefit from that one simple feature!

Very cool. Instant purchase once it arrives in Australia. However where is Siri? (dictation only?). No biggie, but would have been a nice bonus. Very happy that quad-core A5X system-on-a-chip & retina display is confirmed though.

As for the name... Is it seriously just "The new iPad"? #lame!

The screen and amount of radios are fantastic, but nothing else is really doing it for me. I think the design could really use some tweaking (i.e. weight reduction, bezel width). The camera isn't enticing to me, voice dictation should have arrived long ago, and the capacities are still the same. Oh well.

If you reduce the bezel more, how are you going to hold it without activating the touchscreen?

Honestly, if they're claiming that their new A5 quade core is 4 times faster than the Nvidia Tegra 3, APPLE is more full of Horse Crap than I ever thought. What an out right lie. These people will market Anything to sell their products.

Seriously.. I can't tell by the picture, but it almost looks like they tried saying that the iPad 2's dual-core processor was 2X as fast as the Tegra 3 quad-core beast. My mouth dropped...

Silly. Nothing that would make me let go of my iPad 2 right now.

Anyone notice no Siri? instead "voice dictation'?

Haha! That's the issue. Always Apple gets a new stuff, we feel that we are old now. :|

Only things that are of interest are Retina Display and 4g. Everything else is pointless to me - not worth upgrading from an iPad 2. Plus, when you realize the size of apps will have to be even larger to accomodate for the larger textures required for the display, you will have to get a larger storage size to make up for it. No thanks. iPhone 4s can do Siri, dictation and camera duty for everything else.

Biggest dissappointment is no higher storage (i.e. 128GB) option. With that display, going to want to put more and more video on it

as worse as i dont want to buy it
apple when they have nothing to release they talk alot on one thing(like the new ipad resolution)
in my opinion its a waste of time and money

I like all the specs but it's not really astonishing except for the beautifull, very high resolution, retina display wich is really amazing!

everytime a new apple device comes out i think wow there is no way they could ever make a prettier screen and this blows my mind

The weight went back up. Kinda lame. The reduction that the 2nd gen brought was much more comfortable to me to hold. Oh well, specs are great though!

The weight had to go up to support the added hardware and larger battery

Like the dictation feature, don't need a camera the size of an iPad. I still have my iPad (1) and I think I'll stick with it a while longer.

If you look at the stock, historically it always drops right before an announcement and then tends to sky rocket afterwards.
