WHat a pain to reinstall xp

i've spent the last few days getting a process down to install xp. and i'm still not sure if it will work. wow what a pain. i just needed to get that out there.

I put Windows 7 on it! It was a interesting feat to get windows 7 loaded off a USB drive, but I love it more than ever now! Only thing I did was add another stick of RAM =)

I don't know what you're talking about. Move all the stuff you want to save into a folder on C:. Copy a XP iso onto the laptop. Mount the image and run it. Whats so hard?

how are you gonna reboot to install windows....if its mounted IN windows?

It's how installed Win 7. The mount unpacks files it needs onto the HDD.
