Jeez. Yeah, why not just come out with a cheaper-looking knockoff of the Blondebook Air, eh? You had a good thing going with the Envy 133 stylewise, only it was almost out of date when it was released and it wasn't updated in ages. Maybe it didn't occur to some at HP that THAT was the reason why people like me didn't buy it?

What a letdown...
or it means that he just doesnt like the looks macbook air as much.
being a designer and a user of both macs and pcs, i can see where he's coming from. for me the win here is that there are no stupid doors to flip down in order to access ports and also magnesium is stronger than aluminum. additionally, the proportions of the taper on the bottom of the macbook air just dont look right. just saying that there are a few areas of improvement. obviously this guy is thicker than the macbook air but still. i think the macbook air looks better but they arent even the same category of machine.
come on, Hlmz. its obvious that you like your Apple gear, but that doesnt make the ID team at Apple the end-all be-all of design groups.

At least it seems they did the body right - moulded magnesium, like many Dells, with an aluminium upper apparently. Much more sensible (and stronger in terms of everyday handling) than milling aluminium.
