They now make their way into the over-the-ear headphone realm with the Crossfade LP headset. Boasting 50mm dual diaphragm high definition drivers, Kevlar-reinforced cables, and a stellar half metal/half fabric body, V-Moda looks to continue their fantastic line of headphone products for a reasonable $250.
Competing with the well-established Beats by Dr. Dre line of over-the-ear headphones and earbuds, how do you think the Crossfade's stack up?

V-Moda is already known to manufacture the most sleek and stylish earbuds with exceptional acoustics and solid bass.
You can't be V-Moda marketing. They're far more practiced than this obvious effort. So what's the deal? Or are standards falling at the superb stealth shillers at V-Moda?
Nah, this is just from a diehard fan of V-Moda. Obviously. I am not even close to being as learned about V-Moda an advertiser of some sort. But I do agree with you that V-Moda has some serious marketing smarts. I've just kept with their products since the Bass Freqs.
However, I've listened to Beats quite a few times and they are absolutely fantastic. Just looking for some opinions from some Beats/Crossfade users.
And after demoing a pair of these at Apple Store, I still tend to lean towards them in the mid-range headphone spectrum. V-Moda is famous for the outlandish and original designs of their products, I think they keep with that tradition while bringing some seriously beautiful sound quality.
