Upgrading Vista to Win 7

I upgrade my netbook from Vista to Win 7 and it is great. I would highly recommend doing this although it did take a lot of finagling to do it.

If you are a VIsta user, upgrading to Windows 7 is a no-brainer. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong w/ Vista, but Windows 7 does fix a lot of the problems people have with it. Windows 7 actually runs really well on my Asus EEE PC so, unlike Vista, it doesn't require the latest and greatest hardware in order to operate. Also the User Account Control warning boxes in Windows 7 don't pop up nearly as much as they do in Vista. I could on and on talking about all the improvements Windows 7 has over VIsta. Bottom line is, the upgrade is definetly worth it.

I loaded Win7 on a usb drive. Set my LT3103u to load from usb hdd on reboot. Opened the files in vista and ran em. That easy.

Gateway does have Vista drivers available if you look far enough that are compatible with Win7. LT3103u is far superior with Win7 than before.
