A few weeks ago, we introduced product price alerts that lets you know when a price has dropped on the gadgets you want. Today, we're excited to announce some cool new improvements to our price alerts system.
Simplified price alerts with Want list integration
We wanted to make price alerts as easy and seamless as possible, so we've integrated price alerts with gdgt Want lists. Any time you add a product you have your eye on to your Want list, we'll make sure you know when the price price drops. Of course you can still get price alerts for any product, even if it isn't on your Want list. Simply click the "Get Price Alert" button on our product pages and you'll start getting price alerts for any model for that product.
Bulk emails, daily or weekly
We've also updated our price alert system that now supports daily and weekly price alerts. These options deliver you a digest that includes any price drops for the products you want in a single email. We think daily is the way to go, but if you'd like to change the frequency your options, just head over to your user preferences: gdgt.com/settings/#preferences.
Updated UI for the product page
Finally, we made some UI tweaks to the product pages that makes it easier for you to navigate around, including giving some more love to our product overviews and conclusions.
