Track your iPhone 5 Shipment Now, without a Tracking Number!

Go to www.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_US&WT.svl...

Select 'Track by Reference'

In the 'Shipment Reference' field type your 10 digit phone number you used when you purchased from Apple.com (I am not sure if this works for iPhones bought from carriers)

I live in Anchorage, and if the phones are drop-shipped from the factory, they travel Shenzhen - Hong Kong - Anchorage - Louisville (to clear customer/imports), and im my case back to Anchorage. This time my phone appears to be coming from Nashville - I did order right after they opened ordering, so they may have had some stock on hand here in the States already.

Didn't work for me. Ordered via the Apple store (minutes after pre-orders went live), AT&T carrier. Sad face is sad.

You may want to log in to Apple.com and see what your phone number is listed as. I upgraded using my wife's phone upgrade but the shipment is listed under my phone number.

Same here, nothing for me. I ordered it from Apple about 3 minutes after orders went live. I called Apple today, they said they have no other info. I dont see it happening. I wont be happy if Its not here friday.

worked for my phone that i ordered off apple.com but not my wife's phone that I ordered from att.com.

What did it list as the delivery date on your orders? Mine says "Delivers Oct 5 via Standard Shipping". Also, the trick mentioned above (using my phone #) doesn't work, and I tried every possible combo of phone numbers.

"Friday, 09/21/2012, by 3:00 P.M" is what mine says. Have you tried looking up what apple.com has your number listed as? If you purchased through a carrier this trick probably won't work.

Yeah, they have the same phone number I'm using in the search. And I ordered through Apple, but maybe this trick won't work because I'm porting my number over from an AT&T iPhone to Verizon...

If your phone is scheduled to arrive in october, it hasn't hit UPS's facilities yet; since it is not in UPS's systems, you can't track it.
I'd check around october 1st, that should be when the second wave of units ships.

Good Point. This would be for Apple.com release date orders only. Also I got my shipment notice from Apple this morning. Exact same tracking number I have had for a few days now. Still sitting in Addison, IL since 9/16.

Don't forget to put in your shipping zip code and country it's going to, in this case United States. It told me I had to fill in those fields before I could continue on.
