I have been loyal to Verizon customer for years now. However I am very disappointed in their line up of phones year in and year out. My 2 year contract is coming up this fall, and maybe it is time to make the switch. With sprint announcing their $70 unlimited plan, and with the palm pixi it seems like a great deal to me. I pay $60 a month right now for 450 minutes with unlimited texting...no data.
The Pixi looks like a great phone as long as they can keep it on the cheap, maybe $50 after mail in?
Anyone else in a similar spot?

Time to switch to sprint??
I was just in that exact spot. I was on VZW for 6 years and just jumped ship to Sprint. I've noticed no service issues at all, and no dropped calls. (I switched for the Pre). And my bill is a lot cheaper: $45 a month for unlimited text, data and a whole bunch more minutes than I actually need. All in all, I say go for it.
