Thinking of picking one of these up tonight to backup my MacBook Pro.

As if I don't have enough hard drives laying around, but hey -- 1TB and it's bus powered?! I'll take it! Anyway, I think I'm going to wipe my computer tonight and start fresh.

Has anyone used one of these guys before? Any issue with it?

I hope you mean 1TB, Dave.
I have a 750GB (not the Mac version), which I love. No issues with it at all.
