Has anyone ever used one of these ruggedized phones? They sure look ugly, but I'm sure if you're in the middle of a dust storm (err... or SCUBA diving), you're grateful you have it. Anyway, this reminds me of a previous ruggedized phone I've seen back in 2005, released by Kyocera:

These hardcore phones are crazy
So far I really love the phone. It's really nice not having to worry about dropping the phone, dust or water getting in it, and the battery life is really amazing!
I'm taking it to burning man next week, so I'll have more on how rugged it is after the trip. (I'm using it as a gps and camera as there is no cell service there)
So far the only thing I don't like: It's a rather large phone compared to my Blackberry Pearl.
But I do like: water and dust proof, very loud speaker, built in gps, built in camera, dedicated button for flashlight mode.
