The WD TV Live is already decent inexpensive media player by itself. If you update it with the WDLXTV Live firmware (http://b-rad.
cc/wdlxtv-live/) you'll open the door to much more. One of my favorite is running a super low consumption 6W torrent client that support RSS feeds.
