The New everything plan, will it bring new customers

Sprint Just announced a new everything plan. The plan cost 70 dollars each month and gives you unlimited dat, sms, mms, and the kicker: unlimited calling to ANY phone, even phones on other carriers.

This is a first for the industry. Will it draw new customers?

I am on Verizon but may switch to sprint after this announcement. My girlfriend is on Verizon and therefore I could call her as much as I wold like with out overage charges if I was on Sprint. The only problem: she would get charged for all the out of network minutes. Bummer.

Well i think this is the way it should be period. We are paying way to much for data, sms, and calls and this is a big step in the right direction.

This is most definitely a great plan. And it's something that would draw me as a customer of a separate network to rethink renewing with my current provider.

I definitely thought twice about my current plan vs. that plan and I must say it's VERY enticing. The only thing that is holding me back is I've been with a GSM carrier for 5 years now and I love the ability to switch phones WHENEVER I want. If something new comes out get it. I don't see myself with the SAME phone for 2 years. Some people can, I can't :-/

To clarify, it's unlimited calling to any MOBILE phone. Calling landlines (including Google Voice) will cost you minutes. The $70 plan includes 450 minutes.
