The new Core i3/i5/i7 options coupled with Optimus tech make this laptop a must buy - based on the prices on Dell's Singapore site - they don't seem…

to have changed much, if at all - making this a steal.

Battery life however, doesn't seem to be specified anymore. But at least we'll have a choice between longevity and performance now. And either way, this thing will get us more mileage than any other gaming notebook.

I think Notebook Review said that the new Core i7 machine gets 5.5 hours on "everyday" usage, while the older model got 7 or so hours. Does anyone have any real-life experience with battery life on the new models? I'm thinking about getting the i7 (it's discounted now for $100 on Dell.com).
