the Kin2m has been a great phone on the release from verizon. we have two they were free and there is no data plan attached to these phones.

it has wifi that we use all the time, great bat life, camera works great, video so so, navigation is a little strange but you get used to it. dont care for microsoft but remember this phone was made by sharp.

What happens if you try to use apps, not on WiFi, that use data (social networking, browser)? Does the phone prevent you from using it or will Verizon just charge you for the amount of data that you used in that instance?

Your best bet there is to go into parental controls on the verizon website and block data use. The phone will warn you, but not really prevent you from using the data in email/browser

I know this sounds kinda dumb, but is there a way to make sure the browser is shut down or does it shut down? I just got a Kin Two M 15 days ago and it seems to be killing the battery pretty fast. Any ideas?
