I know it's too expensive... I know it has limited functionality... but it's just soo sexy. Everyone is hating on this device; it won't sell many units, but I want it so badly! The 16:9 screen looks beautiful and if I had any way of loading my own videos on there, it would be a done deal... In a couple months, you'll notice everyone and their grandmother with an iPad, but you won't see these bad boys...
It's a unique product from a new company, and even that much is a refreshing change of pace in the CE world.

The JooJoo Lives! Looking Sexier than Ever!
maybe we'll get lucky and they'll be in the bargain bins soon..... i.e. clearance sale on eBay!! :)
Now I am really waiting for a JooJoo vs iPad head to head comparison....

calling all tech bloggers izombies is a bit of a hyperbole, if not trolling at the very least.
i think the real reason it will win is because the general consumer is usually one step behind the average geek --and seeing as soo much hype was made over it, it's not surprising that a lot of people wan't it. i'm not trying to support it, but i do think that it is the better device of the two. but what is your opinion on this, because in that post you both dis the iPad, and say that it is tough to beat..

I didn't dis the iPad; I dissed Apple and those who are irrationally devoted to Apple.
My problem with the iPad (and iPod and iTouch) is the closed ecosystem. The only things that run on iPads are what Apple says can run on iPads.
Google's Android goes too far the other way. It's so open that anybody can put anything on the Android Marketplace, even malware.
And the iPad is definitely setting the standard for tablets high. And no one else will quite get it right. But that's because everything else is designed by geeks, with no non-geek looking over their shoulder.

I love how engadget is throwing their JooJoo aside to wait for the iPad review. Their bias is really sad.
All I saw was a buggy interface, and no multitouch gesturing. The thing must weigh a ton, and burn very hot. I would hate to know what happens when its dropped a few times and stops working. Whats the pipeline for repair and replacement when it goes bad?
