It has one of the best game libraries of any system: remakes of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, F-Zero GX, Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Metroid Prime, Tales of Symphonia...the list just keeps going.
I haven't hooked mine up in a couple years, but I think it's time I revisit some of these games.

The Gamecube is the worst selling Nintendo system, but I love it.
I don't think it was worse-selling than the Virtual Boy, but I get your point.
One game that I wish had gotten more love is Odama, which combined military strategy with pinball. It sounds mildly insane, and it kind of is, but it's fun. I wish they would make a Wii version of it, I think it would play quite well with the Wii remote and Nunchuk.

Check out Eternal Darkness. It's a very interesting game. It was noted at the time for having one of the best audio tracks. If you have this thing hooked up to a decent sound system, you'll be impressed at how nice the rain/thunder and other effects sound. Also, some of the "insanity" effects in that game will freak you out.
Odama and Pikmin yes, gamecube no....
have gone this far without needing a gamecube, especially with the wii having it built-in, and will only ever own one because of my obsessive collecting of video game consoles..... gotta remember to remind my friend who said she'd give hers to me... I'd really rather not pay for it if at all possible.....
