The big dashboard update for the Xbox 360 has begun rolling out. What are your impressions?

After a bit of a delay the new fall update is rolling out. For those of you who have gotten the update what are you impressions so far? Do you like the the new metro look?

Edit: looks a big change was the Netflix UI and it's not too bad. I like being able to select audio subtitles as an option now. However I can't seem to identify how one restarts a currently watched episode. I wonder if anyone else is finding different changes that are for the better or worst yet.

First off, let me say that although I don't own an Xbox 360 myself (PS3 owner by personal preference), I have to say that I really like the new Metro look of the new dashboard. I like how Microsoft is unifying their products with Metro (Windows, Windows Phone, and now Xbox). Plus, I think Metro looks pretty slick, so obviously I think it looks cool haha. I ALSO really like the fact that Microsoft is integrating all of this new TV content in with the update. I think it's a great idea and definitely something that should have been done awhile ago.

I really like the new look. I find that it's quicker to navigate. The additional media content (much of which is available early 2012) is welcome, but what I'm impressed with most is the improved voice integration with Kinect. Being able to move around the dashboard or do search with Bing via voice is pretty nice.

Does the new Netflix app have 5.1 surround sound now? I had thought I heard that but haven't been able to confirm it and I haven't gotten the update yet.

I don't have a 5.1 system but I haven't seen any indication of it when browsing through my queue.

Yes! It has been updated to 5.1. There is a little indicator right by the HD indicator, depending on if the movie/tv show is in 5.1 or not.
