feel comfortable with Unity. You still have a choice, which should calm down the hysteria over the dramatic change in desktop interfaces. If you don't like Unity, it's dead simple to launch the Gnome desktop instead.

I'm actually a fan of Unity, especially on my netbook because it does a good job using all the screen real estate. I get a lot of Mac OSX vibes from it and I don't think that's a bad thing. In a week or so, I think I'm going to move over to Ubuntu 11.04 on my main machine.
