Sprint has recently announced two second-tier android devices: The Sanyo Zio and the Samsung Transform. They both run Android 2.1, but is it stock or skinned?

Is it possible that th lower end devices will turn out to be the ones that give consumers the purest Android experience?

I think the low-end phones will be the first to be crippled. Low cost phones have to be subsidized somehow and installing crudware is the easiest way to do it with the carriers, but I think Sprint is doing it better than other carriers with the Sprint ID packs you can download at will with less Sprint software installed.

i hope neither is crippled, but thats too much to ask for lol.

one thing i noticed about sprint, is that all the "crapware" that comes with it, is pretty helpful.

the evo didnt come with one piece of crapware that i still dont use now.

Sprint TV and NFL are some of the most used apps I have, all except that dumn sprint navigation.

if they do cripple it, it won't be as bad as say, ATT?
