so now that netflix is getting rid of the add to dvd option while using a streaming device i can only think of the negatives.
1) By making DVD-only options invisible to streaming consumers, it gives media companies more incentive to work out a deal with Netflix to get their stuff streaming so they remain relevant (visible) to consumers.
2) It's less confusing for people who share a streaming account but aren't the main account holder (thus they wouldn't have access to disc options). I don't actually see this as a plus to Netflix, though, as sharing accounts loses them money.
