Side buttons?

Didn't see this listed or in the video - it looks like there are no side buttons for the Magic Mouse, or even a way to do a "side click" style gesture. I have a Mighty Mouse right now and I use the side buttons to pop up Expose quite a bit through the day, so that would be pretty critical for me.

The touch part seems pretty slick but I'd really hate to lose that feature. Anyone able to confirm my fears?

I'll echo what you said - didn't see anything about this anywhere, and in all the hands-on images, as well as Apple images, there is NO hint of hardware buttons anywhere. However, with this mouse being a multi-touch surface, adding functionality like this will be a software update, rather than a hardware one. Hopefully it's there or coming.

I'd imagine there are gestures to replace the need for those buttons (the squeeze button and the ball button).

Does the Magic Mouse have a gesture to show all windows in Exposé?

The only gestures we know of so far are one-finger scrolling and two-finger swiping. None for Exposé that we know of, and I'm not sure about the "Dashboard" button that you achieved by pressing the ball on the Mighty Mouse either. I would assume that there is some level of custom mapping with this mouse though (maybe map a left swipe to Expose and a right swipe to Dashboard?) so this could be easily remedied. The great thing about multi-touch is that other gestures can be added as software, rather than hardware. Apple has a lot of room to play with this new platform.
