Screen discoloration???
Any early adopters out there noticing any screen discoloration in their new shiny Retina Displays?
I got mine late last week and noticed that the bottom half of my screen has a very slight discoloration, like a yellow tint that has plagued iPhones and iPads before it. It's hard to notice just staring at a blank white screen, but scrolling through webpages you can see certain things changing colors as they move up, for example the gray box I am posting this discussion in.
I took the bad bear to my Apple Store but I couldn't get the Genius to see the discoloration. He didn't look at it long, he changed my background to white, stared at it for a second and said that he didn't see anything. He entered some tech notes on his iPad and then told me to call Apple Care as there is nothing he could do. I called Apple Care and was told there was nothing they could do as they can't physically see the screen and to try bringing it to a different Apple Store.
So I guess I am wondering, is anybody else having a similar issue?

Pretty amazed that was the customer service experience you received. I would have assumed that if you took it in and want to claim a warranty repair, they would happily replace it since you are within the 1 year warranty. On the downside though you are going to be without your new shiny toy for nearly a month it seems based on shipping dates posted on the Apple.com store. Can you capture some pictures showing the issue with a camera perhaps?
The Genius I took it to didn't mention replacing the laptop as an option, only that it would be repaired with a new screen, but that wasn't possible at the time because they hadn't received repair parts for the new MBP yet.
I will try to take some pictures, but like I said the issue is very faint and only really noticeable when scrolling.

My recommendation if it really is that bad is to return the device then for full refund and then just buy a new one? I looked at the picture you posted but couldn't notice any discoloration.
