Rhapsody vs. Spotify: Which do you prefer?

I haven't used Rhapsody before, but I know a number of people love it. I'm anxiously awaiting Spotify to be released here in the States. I used it for a bit last year before my account was locked down, but it was fantastic and is something I definitely would consider paying for.

Seeing as how Rhapsody has many of the same features that Spotify has (multiple clients for mobile devices, desktop client for streaming music, the ability to cache music and listen to it offline), I'm wondering if you'd prefer one over the other and why.

I share the same sentiments. I never used Rhapsody but I got a brief 60 days of use from Spotify and instantly fell in love. It was an amazing application and you can tell the developers put a ton of work into it.

I loved the trial period I had with Spotify - even the free service is better than most music services and I really miss it now. I'm counting down the days till its released here in America...

I've never really been interested in the pay service that Rhapsody offers and reading about it again now hasn't changed that...

I have been a Rhapsody customer for 8 years and I love it, but if Spotify comes with likewise features and cheaper I might change over, if not I stay where I am.
