Quick impressions of the HTC One X and One S
I was lucky enough to get 15 minutes with both the One X and the One S earlier this week, and while it wasn't all that much time, I did come away very impressed. The build quality of both is fantastic, HTC clearly paid a lot of attention to the little details on each phone, and the screen on each is great. Both were thinner than I'd expected, but still felt remarkably sold and well-built. Both phones were fluid and responsive and while generally I'd prefer stock Android (for a variety of reasons), I think they did a good job with Sense this time around.
Obviously I want to see how well the battery performs under real-world conditions first, but I think the One X might be my next phone.

The One X is just about the most impressive HTC offering since the Nexus One, I but I hate to be "that guy", but the non-removable battery is just a deal killer.. At least one of such limited capacity. I understand the design motivations, but I have to be able change batteries Am I the only one who still wants an SD slot and a battery compartment?
I don't see the necessity to have a removable battery unless you're flashing unreliable ROMs that may require you to hard shutdown like that.
If it's about having multiple batteries, just carry a charger around with you. I, personally, have a charger at the office, at home and in the car. That just about covers where I am 60%+ of the time. If you need to, you can even buy one of those external batteries that'll charge any products like this thing: goo.gl/RQmis .

Was the One X the quad-core international version or the dual-core one coming to AT&T?
I so want the HTC One X. It would be a super upgrade from my current Nokia 5800XM. The device definitely sounds awesome theoretically based on the 0.7 seconds for image capture, Beats Audio and 4.7-inch 720p display.
I don't think Android is focused as much on usability than they were before, I run both but with all features enabled WP7 just lasts longer, every device i've used running android same hardware spec is always less on battery than an equilivent windows phone. I think there needs to be a back to basics for both Android and HTC if they want to progress further.
Peter the fact that you say the One X could be your next phone is interesting. I'm a fan of HTC phones, but sometimes feel they can be hit or miss. My current one the HTC Vivid, I have no issues with. I'm actually content with my phone right now (just waiting for AT&T to release that ICS OTA update since I missed the force code push).
The only reason I'm curious about the One X is because it is the latest and greatest. Although style wise, I'm not usually one to use an all white phone lol. But thanks for the vote of confidence in it, gives me more reason to take a look at it!
