Problems with gdgt Podcast on Zune HD

I have been listening to the gdgt podcast from the start. Initially I was using my ipod Video and had no problems, chapters all worked etc. Then I got a Zune HD, and now I'm having issues.

Firstly I don't get chapters at all. Now I'll admit I haven't really looked into this too much before this post, so I guess chapters may not be an option on the Zune HD. But I also can't fast forward. If you try this it just skips back to 0:00. This is very annoying, because as much as I enjoy the podcast, if I'm 30mins in, I'm not sure I want to listen to it again.

This is the only Audio Podcast I have on the Zune, but the Video podcasts allow me to fast forward, as does Music/Video/Audiobooks

Anyone else had this problem?

Reboot the device. I have had that happen to me about 2-3 times since I got my first Zune in 2007, and this is how I got around this.

Just in case people don't know how to reboot.

I have the same problem with my podcasts and its rather annoying. I want to say it didn't really crop up until the most recent update, but I can't say that for certain.

I don't have any problem with the GDGT podcast, but I have the same problem with the Engadget Mobile podcast. If I try to fastforward or rewind, it starts the podcast over. Interesting.

Also, I don't think the Zune must do chapters (I don't have an iPod to compare it to.) At least mine doesn't.

You should probably subscribe to the MP3 version...the AAC version has those chapters and it's difficult to jump around the podcast.

Does the Zune recognize chapters in the AAC version?
