Preventing iPhone Damage Without Cases or Covers

It's hard not to really love the design of the iPhone 4 and 4S. However, we all know it's easy to damage.

I have tried many cases, and each of them protected my phone well. I'm currently using the Speck CandyShell case, and have used other Speck products as well. I have also gone with and without screen protectors (last time I went without, i paid dearly).

However, I want to be able to go naked next time I grab a new phone. Besides the obvious precautions, what do ya'll do to keep your uncovered iPhone's safe?

There are really only a couple things you can do. Obviously find a nice slip-case for your belt or bag that you can pull your phone out of quickly. If you have something like the iPhone 4 with a slick surface on the back, I have seen products that stick on like a screen protector. Almost naked. The point of using them on the 4 is that the 4 will slide off of any surface that is even slightly inclined without it.

If you absolutely must go naked with your iPhone, I recommend installing clear Zagg screen protectors on the front and back (there are Zagg mall popup stores where you can have it applied professionally which I highly recommend if you don't want to see bubbles, dust, etc). They're indestructible and I believe they come with lifetime replacements for a small fee. I've done it on the back of my iPad and it was money well spent!

Good suggestion!

Are these the ones which can be bought at Best Buy? Because I believe I tried Zagg and had them applied at BB, and found that they don't cover the entire front/back of the device.

Don't know if they sell them at BB, but it'd be odd if it didn't cover the entire glass face on both sides (though most covers usually have about .5mm of tolerance around the edges)

Personally, I just use a slip case for my iPhone. It also provides some protection in the event I drop it. You may want to look at AcaseView or Halo Screen Protectors. Both get pretty good reviews on Amazon. Zagg does not seem to get very good reviews.

I have looked at all of those cases and I feel that the best one i have found is xoskins.com/ they have the best one to protect from anything. Check out that video they have online to see.
