Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought "COURIER!" when they saw this.

Wonder how much it'd take to build something like that on top of Windows 7...

Definitely thought the exact same thing, but then I read it didn't have a tablet digitizer so...got less excitedly. -_- However, I do wonder if someone can create the software side of Courier.

there are capacitive stylus available for machines like the iPad and those would presumably work with this. add some one note and you've got a near courier experience with the power of Win7.

Oh... completely forgot about having OneNote on here. That's huge.

Here's how I'm going to create an almost courier:
Libretto W100/105
+MS One Note (with 2010 version can save notes to Windows Live Sky Drive and share with friends ;)
+Win7's snipping tool (to capture screenshots from the web)
+capactive stylus
+usb/BT webcam
+favorite online calendaring and contacts (Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, Windows Live, etc.) [personally I'm going with outlook for the intergration into one-note, it's ridiculous how productive you can be]

bonus points:
get a 3G/4G usb card from your wireless carrier and plug into port instead of webcam
Bluetooth KB and mouse, stand the machine vertically for light productivity at table or desk (think shooting off email or light document editing.)

I actually thought of these two devices:

gdgt.com/msi/dual-screen-tablet-e-reader/
gdgt.com/asus/eee/reader/

Looks like Toshiba might be beating these two to the punch on release for these odd form factor computers.
