Please release the Desire Z for AT&T. AT&T has to have the worst Android offering of any carrier.

With the only 2 QWERTY devices being the Backflip with a horrid skin and G1 class hardware & the X10 still on Android 1.x... It would be nice to have a current generation QWERTY phone as an option.

The funny thing is its all AT&T's fault they don't have a high end android phone. Look at the Nexus One, Google had to partner with a Canadian carrier to get access to the right frequencies so it could be used on AT&T. I think as long as the iphone remains exclusive the high end phones that could rival it will not make it or make it way to late.

The X10 lacks a physical QWERTY keyboard if thats what you want. If you don't want that I'd look at the Samsung Captivate.

The European Desire Z won't support AT&T 3G and I have not heard of plans to release an AT&T 3G version. I'd look for what the Canadian carriers eventually release, as they share bands with AT&T.

Solid info, thanks for the heads up. I'm not sure why the X10 sorts under "full keyboard" with other hardware keyboard phones on the AT&T store but that was what I was looking at. Come on Rogers...

Yeah I went to the AT&T website and saw that. Very strange.

Also all the Canadian Big 3 use AT&Ts bands now. So come on Rogers, Bell and Telus.

I don't think AT&T is going to officially support this.

However, since it's technically an unlocked phone sold in Europe and Asia, one would assume it would be easy enough to pick up (for probably $600 or so, I'd imagine) and work with AT&T.
