Discussion about
Officially coming to Tmobile
www.sticktogether.com/htchd2/ Well this puts the final nail in the coffin as it were the HD2 is coming to Tmobile US with a launch date this spring. Two snapdragon phones in the first part of the year with the possibility of another the X-10. Tmobile is definitely improving their phone lines.
Anyone actually surprised?

Now, let's define "improving their phone lines". Yes, they are improving their catalog of phones, but "phone lines" has another connotation, one of which T-Mobile has had a terrible time with in 2009.

Touche to that but it wasn't that bad, two outages isn't horrendous but not exactly ok. And it was only the matter of the official announcement, which was put out on twitter before the keynote.
By the time T-Mo starts selling the device, WinMo 7 could be in a late development stage and ready for release soon after. So, not only will T-Mo have to support the launch of the device, but also support delivery of the ROM to its subscribers. They may just stick to d/l via PC or include OTA.
Last I heard it was pushed off to later in the year, and this is launching in the spring. Plus Tmo has had no problem doing OTA updates for all the android phones so I see a new ROM not being that much of a deal. That is of course if Microsoft makes an update from 6.5 to 7 without having to reflash the whole system, that could be an issue.

Thats just the showing, I still think the launch is going to be later on, could be wrong but I believe the official word was it was being pushed back.
Isn't the Touch Pro 2 getting an OTA update from 6.1 to 6.5? I don't think T-mo will have a problem with a OTA update to from 6.5 to 7.0-as long as Microsoft and HTC allow it- for the HD2.
My question is how much this baby will be? I've wanted to dump my G1 for this for awhile now.

That is true and I am not denying that, but if Windows does a complete rework it might require a fresh install, but I highly doubt that, and I believe this will probably be about $200.
