Anyone that was part of the 8bit generation of computers will talk about the C64 and Spectrum as being the go to machines, but before the C64 was a twinkle in Commodores eye, we had this beast that really kicked it all off. This was the first affordable computer for the home. Connect it to your TV and just compute your little heart out.
I learned to love computers owning this, It felt like a grown ups machine I'd managed to talk my way into getting. I respected it and it introduced me to programming, gaming and even design on computers.
I'll always remember this more fondly than the C64 which was better in every way, but merely a child of the big daddy that was the Commodore Vic 20.
