Nokia N9 - Anybody going to get one?
So after reading several glowing reviews and seeing a the hardware up close, I am dying to get this phone and some Meego action. I was still on my original Sprint Pre when HP decided to murder webOS, and at the time I went and did a Pre 2 Sprint conversion and planned on just using that indefinitely. But now....
So am I just a glutton for dead OS punishment, or are others itching for this phone as well?
Pretty much the only thing stopping me is the extreme cost. eBay was showing around 700-800 bucks for an unlocked N9, which is just craziness.

Exactly the same with me (only I'm in the US). It looked really cool, but now that it's not coming stateside and prices are pretty high it's looking like a pass for me at this point. :(
I have a Nokia N9. I bought my one in Dubai at the Nokia Store earlier this month.
Prices were like AED 2349 (~USD 640) for 16GB and AED 2649 (~USD 720) for the 64GB. All phones are unlocked. They have a pentaband HSPA+ radio, so you get HSPA+ reception in Europe [ mostly 2100MHz ] and North America [ 1700MHz [T-Mobile], 850MHz and 1900MHz [AT&T], henceforth, AT&T-Mobile :) ]. Great for travelling, since it works on all GSM networks, just get a local µSIM.
16GB comes in all three colors (black, cyan and pink).
64GB comes only in black (and only available at Nokia Stores).

Do I like it? Absolutely!
The one thing I love about Nokia smartphones is that they come with worldwide offline navigation - just download the maps when you are at home and you are set. The navigation app isn't as polished as the E7 version, but I hope it gets there.
And battery life on this thing is insane (with a big "I"). I can keep WiFi and Bluetooth on and it lasts for 2+ days on a single charge. If I turn on both just when I need them, one single charge lasts 4+ days.
The camera is amazing as well. It is really fast. In my testing, I've taken pictures at around 1 shot per second at full resolution.
Skype being built right into the dialer app is also amazing.
The only problem I have with it so far: no built-in support for DLNA media streaming.
The N9 is expected to receive a major firmware update by the end of this month, so I'll refrain from complaining about bugs (and it does have some) till I get some quality hands-on time with the new firmware.
I'm not familiar with ToodleDo, so I can't comment on that right away. I need to do some research.

Well, glad to hear you like it. ToodleDo is an online task tracking website, I use a ToodleDo app extensively on my Pre 2, and it is kind of a required app for me now.
I'll be keeping an eye on the N9 prices as well as the Lumia 800 stuff over the next 6 months. One of these may be where I land next.

- Is ToodleDo like GTD? There is a GTD app for the N9 called MeeToDo, but it really needs a lot more work to be put into it. It is very barebones in its current state.
- Nokia supposedly made only 93,000-95,000 N9 units. I don't know if they'll last that long. FWIW, I have 2, black 64GB and cyan 16GB. Nostalgia. Plus, NFC is no fun with just one device. ;)
It is similar to GTD yes, but it's main appeal for me is accessibility anywhere. I have a ToodleDo app on my TouchPad, Pre 2, and can access the web interface from all my computers, leading to a very nice ability to update tasks on all my devices.
Wow, that is quite a limited run, I didn't realize it was that small.
